Guest data is scoped to the venue that earned the relationship. FUNC does not sell personal information and does not share customer lists between unrelated venues. Venue marketing permission is tracked separately from FUNC marketing permission, per channel.

What is FUNC Venue?+
FUNC Venue is the planned enterprise package of the FUNC operating system, designed for nightclubs, venue groups, and high-volume event operators. It is intended to connect ticketing, promoter attribution, entry, cashless payments, guest intelligence, loyalty, and multi-location reporting in one platform.
Is FUNC Venue available today?+
No. FUNC Venue is in development. The existing FUNC product — event creation, ticketing, promoter attribution and commissions, QR check-in, VIP and table tiers, and Stripe payouts — is live today. Everything described on this page as planned or coming soon is not yet available.
Can we see FUNC Venue in action?+
Table tab software for nightlife venues and event partners is the first FUNC Venue use case, and a guided walkthrough is available to early pilot venues on request. Payments in that walkthrough are simulated — no cards are collected, authorized, or charged.
Is FUNC Venue separate from FUNC?+
No. FUNC Venue is part of the same FUNC company and the same operating system. It is an enterprise layer on top of the platform you already use, not a different app or brand.
What is FUNC Pay?+
FUNC Pay is the planned cashless payment capability inside FUNC Venue. It is being designed to let guests connect a payment method once and use a phone QR code or venue-issued wristband to access a secure tab. It is not currently available and cannot process bar transactions today.
What is FUNC Pass?+
FUNC Pass is the planned guest credential — a rotating phone QR code, a mobile-wallet pass, or a QR wristband (with NFC considered later) — connecting a guest's ticket, tab, access privileges, and rewards. It is a venue-issued software credential, not government identification.
Is FUNC building its own POS?+
Yes — FUNC Venue is being designed to include a nightlife-native register that handles the core bartender workflow: fast drink menus, modifiers, comps, voids, bartender PINs, tabs, tipping, digital receipts, and shift totals. It is in development and cannot ring up transactions today. Scope and rollout will be shaped with early pilot venues.
What if a guest doesn't have FUNC Pass?+
The planned register is intended to accept ordinary payment methods such as physical cards and mobile wallets, so a bartender never switches systems based on how a guest pays. FUNC Pass is designed to be a faster option, not a requirement for service.
Who is responsible for guest identification and alcohol-service decisions?+
The venue. FUNC provides software. FUNC does not independently verify a guest's age or eligibility to purchase alcohol, and does not make admission or service decisions. Venues remain responsible for identification checks, admission, alcohol service, staff conduct, and regulatory compliance.
